Presidential Preparations for 2018/2019

As the new Rotary year is nearing, our RC 6 October Shams club president for 2018 \2019 Rasha Elkassas and Honorary Secretary Maha El Shalakany are preparing for their responsibility and post very diligently. To that effect, first Rasha presented her goals to club members then she and some of the incoming board members and other members attended the GMS seminar which trains incoming presidents and Honorary Secretaries for leading clubs, and presents the District Governors goals .

Fourth Meeting for Club Presidents

Honorary Secertary Sohaila Seaudy attended the 4th meeting for presidents and secretaries organized by RC Giza horizon. Our DG Hamada Zahran gave a valuable speech advising all clubs to check and work on the Rotary citation. He encouraged clubs contribution to the TRF which will help attain global grants. Focusing on increasing club members and considering the gradual decrease in age and including interacts and rotaracts and encouraging them by being exempted from district fees. .

District Seminar on Global Grants in Port Said

This time PP Tarek Omar presented in the Global Grants workshop that took place in Port Said.The workshop was about the hows and whys of Global Grants which are important means of financing rotary service projects. .
