Rotary Club of 6th of October Shams
Breast cancer awareness and self examination convoy
To protect women from death from breast cancer, our club organized a convoy in cooperation with the Egyptian Breast Cancer Association and Shaarawy Foun-dation in Al Awla Bel Re3aya area. Over 45 women were checked and taught how to self examine and some of them were referred to free mammograms.

A meeting was held with the 6th of October City local administration in order to discuss ways of cooperation in environmental projects.

Visit to literacy classes in Embaba, Guiza
Members visited our 4 sponsored lieracy classes in Embaba, Guiza to check the lev-el learners had reached and to give motivational prizes to the ones who excelled.

End Polio Campaign
Members supported the End Polio campaign in Guiza Governorate by overseeing the ad-ministration of vaccines in Ezbet El Safih Kindergarten and giving coolers to keep the vac-cines safe to the staff of the Ministry of Health who were giving these vaccines.

Second Clothes fair at Helwan University
The club held it second clothes fair at Helwan University. Clothes were collected from donors by installing a container in Palm Hills Compound to facilitate the matter for residents. Half of the revenue will go to the solidarity fund for needy students of the University.

End Polio Now Marathon
Members participated in this marathon to fundraise for providing coolers to preserve the safety of Polio vaccines. Fifty disabled individuals were invited to participate in this fun day.
