Blood Donation Drive on Rotary Polio Day

Our club Rotary 6 October Shams had a blood donation drive at Arkan Mall on Friday 27 October and it netted 45 bags . This was part of Rotary Polio Eradication drive. Because polio is nearly eradicated and because Rotary has been instrumental in reaching this goal through a worldwide campaign funding the vaccine in third world countries, Rotarians came together to shed light on the great work that has been done by Rotary Egypt.
It is noteworthy to say that each penny donated to Polio eradication by Rotary, is matched twice by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
